Our Story

  • 2019
    The first iteration of Contigo Ed, “Postsecondary Access and Success Initiative,” becomes fiscally sponsored; the first Aspiration to Action materials are completed.
  • 2020
    The work expands through early funding, a first district partnership, and the official Contigo Ed name.
  • 2021
    Contigo Ed grows its team and begins supporting more districts across Texas.
  • 2022
    Aspiration to Action fully launches, alongside strategy and analytics partnerships with 55 Texas districts.
  • 2023
    Contigo Ed becomes an independent nonprofit and surpasses 100 partners served.
  • 2024
    Contigo Ed reaches more than 2 million students impacted and sets a goal to double that reach by 2027.
  • 2025
    Contigo Ed launches expanded work in Texas in partnership with Texas Impact Network and through the CCMRTexas.org website.
  • 2026
    Contigo Ed expands work into California in partnership with Career Ladders Project.

The History of Contigo Ed

Contigo Ed envisions a world where every student is able to live a choice-filled life.

Founded in 2019, Contigo Ed was born out of a desire to ensure all students, no matter their background or school, are advised by highly trained, skilled, and effective educators who can help them realize their full potential. Drawing on the experience of our diverse team, Contigo Ed helps schools, districts, higher ed institutions, and community organizations offer access to the life-changing effects of well-designed college and career pathways.
